Dr. Chad Goeckeritz, D.D.S.

Dr. Goeckeritz loves being a part of the Draper community and serving its residents.

He is a Utah native born and raised in the Cottonwood area and moved to Draper in 1993. He attended the University of Utah where he graduated in 2004 with a B.A. in German.

After graduating from the U of U, Dr. Goeckeritz moved his family to Richmond, Virginia so he could attend Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. While in Virginia, Dr. Goeckeritz was selected with four other classmates to participate in a dental service mission to Jamaica. In a small village located outside of Duncans, Jamaica, they were able to address and treat the dental needs of the local people. This life changing experience became the foundation for a continuing desire to provide service for those who need it, and a passion for community and volunteer service.

Dr. Goeckeritz earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) in General Dentistry.He graduated from VCU School of Dentistry as one of the top in his class, earning the highest honors achievable as a student and numerous awards and scholarships for his study and dedication to the field of Dentistry. During his years in Virginia, he sought to learn the latest developments in cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry.

After returning to Utah, Dr. Goeckeritz worked for Dr. Spencer Woodbury in a high end cosmetic and family dental office, as well as with Dr. Spencer Wagner in a pediatric dental office. He truly enjoyed this time to refine his skills and garner what he could from two very good and experienced dentists.

In 2017 Dr. Goeckeritz was awarded his Fellow to the Academy of General Dentistry, one of the highest honors given to top 3 % of practicing dentists in the United States for their dedication and continued excellence in all fields of dentistry and continuing education.

In 2018, Dr. Goeckeritz became a national speaker for the Academy of General Dentistry, speaking on the topics of Cosmetic Dentistry. He was privileged to speak in New Orleans, for the Academy of General Dentistry Annual Conference. Since then he has spoken at various dental schools, dental societies, and dental conventions.

Dr. Goeckeritz settled his family in Draper as soon as they returned from Virginia. One year later, he was afforded the opportunity to purchase and establish his practice in Draper. After working tirelessly for months, he opened his doors and welcomed both old and new patients to his practice. Dr. Goeckeritz was very excited to enter into 10 years at his practice in which he was able to take all that he had learned over the years and combine it with the latest advances in the dental field to create a truly unique dental experience. His education and training, as well as his treatment philosophies are always focused on his patients and their needs.

Dr. Goeckeritz is thrilled to be in Draper and looks forward to providing you with the highest quality dental care. It is his goal to offer the best service available to you and become a dentist you truly trust and love.

Dr. Goeckeritz’s spare time is spent with his great family, His wife, Lindsay, and their three boys, Nathanael, Max and Justin. Chad can often be found outside on his road or mountain bike. He loves the thrill of riding and has ridden in some of the countries top races, Leadville on his Mountain bike, and Lotoja on his road bike. He also is a volunteer mountain bike coach for the Corner Canyon High School and Draper Park Middle School Teams. He also loves snow skiing with his family and back country touring. Recently, he and his family love camping and now are often at many of the amazing State and National Parks.

Debbie Roberts 
Debbie Roberts – Office Manager

What can we say about Debbie, without her, our practice would not be what it is today. She runs the front office day in and day out. Each day she comes early and stays late in order to benefit our patient’s and ensure that their dental insurance is working in their favor. Debbie came to our office in August 2009, and with her, she brought over 28 years of dental experience. She knows all the in’s and out’s of the office. Early in her career she was a chair side assistant, providing her with a wealth of knowledge in regards to you, the patient’s, and the services that are provided.

Within a few years of assisting, her former employer learned what a value she would be in the front. Debbie has a great personality and is so easy to talk with. These qualities are the reason she has excelled as an office manager. With her years of running a dental office, there is no question or insurance problem that she cannot handle. We loving having her here with us. She makes the office run smoothly and efficiently.

If you have called or visited our office, then you have most likely talked with Debbie. Our hope is that you have been as happy as we have. Next time you are in, we hope you will get to know Debbie a little more.

Janet Thomas 
Janet Thomas – Financial Officer

Janet has been a valuable asset to us at Falling Creek Dental. She has been with us since our doors opened in May of 2009. Since May, she has provide our office with countless hours of service and dedication. We sure have enjoyed the expertise and knowledge that Janet has to offer. Janet started in the financial side of the business with Walker Bank many years ago. She spent several years in the banking industry, real estate, insurance and then with the airlines. She loves working with people and enjoys all our awesome patients and staff. With all of her years of experience in finance, insurance and customer service there was no question about what she could do for us.

We hope that you find Janet as beneficial to you as we have. She is ready and willing to help you with any of your questions should they arise. We hope that you will take the time to get to know her on your visits to our office and you will soon find out how great she is.

Staci May, RDA – Patient Care Coordinator

Staci has been with our office since 2012, either instructing with our Premier Dental Assisting School or assisting. Over the last few years, Staci has become our Patient Care Coordinator. She has a vast knowledge of dental insurance and claims and will help our patients in any way she can. She has been a valuable asset to our team and will make sure that your visits and insurance questions are the best possible experience one can have while visiting the dentist.

Staci has been such a benefit to our office and we know that you will be her top priority while visiting with us. Any questions you might have, give her a call and let her walk you through your appointment and ease the burden and stress that insurance can sometimes be.

Loretta Muirbrook 
Loretta Muirbrook, RDH – Hygienist

If you have visited our office for a cleaning recently, then you have been fortunate enough to have Loretta clean your teeth. Without fail, before the days is done, numerous patients leave impressed with how gentle and great Loretta is. Patients comment all the time about her skills, and how this was the “best dental cleaning they have ever had.” Loretta came to our office right out of hygiene school in July 2009. We are so fortunate to have her in our office. Before becoming a hygienist, she worked as a dental assistant for years, taking a few years off to raise her daughter. We were existed to learn of her becoming a hygienist and knew that she would be a great fit for our office.

Loretta is such a value to our office and we know that our patient’s are in good hands. Sue Davis, RDH – Hygienist

We are excited to announce our newest hygienist with lots of experience. Sue joined our team in 2019, but a vast experience and knowledge and the gentle touch to make your dental hygiene visit not only enjoyable and pain-free, but instructs and educates our patients to help them fully understand their oral health.

Lixmer Rivas, – Dental Assistant

Lixmer has now been with Falling Creek Dental for 2018 years and has been amazing at taking care of all of our patients. Lixmer is a licensed dentist in her home country of Venezuela. She came to the United States to learn English and upon doing so met her husband, and joined our team. She is naturally fluent in Spanish which is a benefit to large majority of our patients. Since Lixmer is a Dentist in her home country, she is able to educate our patients and help them to feel more comfortable while in the dental chair.

We know that you will love Lixmer as much as we do!

Ivy Johnson, – Dental Assistant/Front Office

Ivy has quickly become part of our team as the newest member of Falling Creek Dental. She has a great knowledge of both the front and back workings of a dental office and was an office manager with another practice. We are excite to have her with us and be able to help our patients with any questions and needs since she can do it all.

Your next visit you will either meet Ivy behind the front desk or assisting the doctor in the back. You will be in good hands, no matter what roll you meet Ivy in. Be sure to say Hello and welcome her to our Team.
